The Jeffersons ran for 11 years on CBS and started in 1975 and featured Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford as George and Louise Jefferson. The Jeffersons was a traditional comedy which featured George as the owner of seven dry cleaning stores who leaves his humble beginning and moves to a large upscale apartment where the are in constant conflicts with their friends and neighbors, the Willis'. The Jeffersons tv show was one of the longest running tv shows and is still popular in sidication. |
