The Terminator
The Terminator movie series began in 1984 and was a sci-fi smash hit starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in his first break out role where he played a cyborg sent back in time to kill the Sarah Connor, mother of the human resistance to the machines. In T2, Judgement Day, Arnold reprises his role, but this time as a captured model that is reprogrammed not to kill, but to save the life of Sarah's son, John. The Terminator movie series have become one of the most popular action movies ever and have featured a third movie, Terminator 3, Rise of the Machines.
