Sin City
Sin City is a comic series by Frank Miller and later made into a film in 2005 and features several short stories including Hartigan, an aging police officer who sacrifices his life for a young girl that he later falls in love with, Marv who is a thug and goes on a killing spree to find the person who killed the woman he was with the previous night, and Dwight who attempts to protect his girlfriend and later finds out the man that he helped kill was a corrupt police officer which leads to a clash between the girls of Sin City, the mob, and the police. The movie is unique in that it is almost entirely in black and white except for several key pieces of each short story that are in color. Sin City was widely acclaimed by both critics and fans and is truly a unique movie.
