The Ren and Stimpy show was created by John Kricfalusi and starred Ren, who is a hyperactive and abusive Chihuahua and Stimpy, who is an unintelligent, but cheerful cat that is devoted to Ren and their friendship. The Ren and Stimpy tv show featured the 2 characters wandering around in differnet situations that was a more throw back type of cartoon except for, the at times, crude nature of the program. The Ren and Stimpy tv show is still a popular cartoon and gains new fans in syndication.
