Alfred Hitchock's Psycho was a horror film released in 1960. It featured a lonely motel owner, Norman Bates, and a secretary who is hiding from her boss after stealing money from her employer. The Psycho movie has many memorable scenes including the infamous shower scene and is considered the movie that started the slasher film era. Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is also considered one of Hitchcock's best films and one of the most effective horror movie films of all-time. The popular Psycho movie spawned several sequels and a remake of the classic Psycho film.
