Office Space
Office Space was written and directed by Mike Judge in 1999 and starred Ron Livingstone as Peter Gibbons, a distraught IT professional who works for the company Initech. Peter hates his job and decides to get therapy to his cure his unhappiness with his job and life. While performing a hypnosis session with Peter, the therapist dies and Peter remains under hypnosis and is in a permanent, peaceful, zombie like state through the movie. He no longer cares about the little things including paying bills, taxes, and his job. As the plot unfolds, Peter and a few of his workers decide to write a computer virus to rip off their company. The Office Space movie gained huge popularity once released to DVD due to the fact that it related well to most white collar professional who hated their job.
