The Night of the Living Dead was a black and white independant horror movie released in 1968. The Night of the Living Dead featured several survivors who go to country house to take refuge from the recently dead who now rise and walk the earth. Little information is known about the living dead except they are in need of human flesh and will stop at nothing to fill their needs. Although the movie was shunned during its release due to its graphic nature, Night of the Living Dead is considered a classic masterpiece. Night of the Living Dead launched the Living Dead series by George A Romero and many zombie films have been inspired by this classic film.
