Marvel Zombies was a miniseries of 5 comic books with several variant covers for the titles where the story of the run is an alternate universe when the world's greatest superheroes have become flesh eating zombies. The series was written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Sean Phillips, with painted covers by Arthur Suydam. It is a continuation of the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic where as Mr. Fantastic is tricked by the super zombies into teleporting into another universe for food and the portal is left open for the zombies to gorge themselves on the flesh of an alternate world. The Marvel Zombies miniseries was so popular that it virtually sold out within minutes of the books hitting the shelves leaving fans clamoring for more.
