Married with Children was a long running tv show on, at the time a fledgling network, Fox. It starred Ed O'Neil as Al Bundy, a former high school football standout and now women's shoe salesman, Peggy Bundy, Al's sometimes devoted wife, Kelly who is the typical dumb-blonde, and their son Bud, who is an unpopular, but intellegent person. The show centered mostly on Al Bundy who would would try to recapture past glory, but would inevitability fail at almost everything he tried to accomplish. This was the Bundy curse and although he blames his family for most of his failures, he still loves and protects them, especially Kelly. Married with Children was the longest running live action tv show for Fox and is still a vary popular tv show in syndication.
