The Ghost Rider
The Ghost Rider was created by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Mike Ploog in 1972. The first supernatural Ghost Rider was a stunt motorcyclist by the name of Jonny Blaze who offers his soul to the devil to save his friend and mentor. His soul is bonded with an entity known as the Zarathos and when emitting the powers of the Zarathos, Blaze's head and face becomes a flaming skull along with the his motorcycle, develops super human strength, and he is able to blast fire from his hands. There have been a few different Ghost Riders over the years, but the original Johnny Blaze character was the most popular during its run of over 30 years. The Ghost Rider character created by Marvel spawned a movie staring Nicholas Cage in 07.
