Frankenstein's Monster was based on the novel by Mary Shelly and the movie was released in 1931. Boris Karloff played the monster and the Frankenstein movie franchise was one of the most popular ever created. It featured Doctor Frankenstein who is genius and becomes interested in created a human himself. Doctor Frankenstein is able to create a new live being, but is horrified at what he has created and runs. Frankenstein monster then leaves the lab and wonders looking for someone to help and understand who he is. The monster is eventually hunted down and burned in the lab in which he was created. The story of Frankenstein is one of the most popular and has had movies, books, comics, and merchandise based on his likeness.
