The Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby of Marvel and debuted in 1961. This group consisted of Reed Richards, Sue Richards and her brother Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm who were on a space mission and gained their super powers through a blast of powerful cosmic rays. Reed Richards becomes Mr. Fantastic and is the leader of the group and is able to stretch his body into almost any shape or size. Sue Richards becomes the Invisible Woman and can become invisible and has the power to create force fields and project blasts from her hands. Johnny Storm becomes the Human Torch who can turn himself into flames and can fly. Ben Grimm becomes the Thing who has super human strength and endurance and his has body become orange and full of rock plates. Over the years, The Fantastic Four has been one of the most popular comic books created as shown by various spinoff titles of the characters, tv shows, and movies.
