Elf was released in 2003 and starred Will Ferrell as Buddy, a human who is adopted by elves from the North Pole. Through his adventures he is reunited with his birth father and eventually helps to spread enough Christmas cheer to help Santa deliver all of his presents and save Christmas. Elf was an instant Christmas classic.
