Blade
Blade was created by Marvel in 1973 and first appeared in the Tomb of Dracula comic book series. Blade was created after his mother was bitten by a vampire while Blade was still in the womb. Blade has incredible strength and agility and is a master in the martial arts and with weapons. Blade is unique in that he can walk in the sun with no effects which led to his nickname as the Daywalker. The Blade comic book spawned a successful movie series entitled Blade that starred Wesley Snipes. The Blade character has also produced several self entitled comic books over the years and the Blade character continues to be one of the most popular produced by Marvel.
